Enough laying around on the couch! Time to get back to work! And this year… with focus and intent.
Our team is excited about this year. It’s been nearly two and a half years that we’ve been reeling and trying to recover from the loss of Jason Spencer, our director of strategy who was killed by a gun in November 2017. This is the year we are going to allow ourselves to move forward. We’re in a good position with long-term clients as well as new ones (a new client just joined our team earlier this week). We are confident that what we do stands out from the competition and that staying in our “lane” of social media engagement as we head into our 11th year in business has served us well and will continue to do so.
So now I’m making myself accountable:
My resolution for this year (and beyond) is to stop telling my clients “do as I say, not as a I do.”
For several years, though the content on my clients’ pages and blogs have shined, resulting in web traffic, quality leads and closed sales, my company’s digital content has been left with the cobbler’s son’s shoes… untouched and a little dusty.
So for 2020 I’ve made a resolution to shine those shoes up… share content regularly with clients and community, to focus on spreading my digital footprint just a little bit bigger. I look forward to engaging with more people as me (not just as my clients) and get back to what got me into this business in the first place… the relationships.
The team is on board. Rather than doing an end-of-year holiday party we are kicking off this year with a celebratory lunch on January 17th. We’re excited about looking forward, digging into new voices and continuing with our strong, positive reputation.
Here’s to a successful 2020! Happy New Year!
